We are often known for being lazy, but compared to the cats outdoors, we have to look at it.
The University of Illinois conducted a two-year study of 42 cats, and the researchers used radio trackers to monitor their every move.
Among them is a cat named Stewie, which has a 135-acre (819-acre) land area, including city streets, university campuses, and mountain villages.
It knows where to look for food, where to avoid danger, it even knows what a traffic light is, knowing how to cross the road.
Stewie is a special case. Most cats range from 4.9 acres (30 acres), and all cats like to be close to buildings.
