When it comes to attacking animals, there’s only one other creature besides humans called sea cucumbers.
It’s just that the way the sea cucumber attacks itself is a little bit brutal, it attacks its own internal organs.
When stressed, sea cucumbers turn their backs on their attackers and dramatically contract their wall muscles. This causes the cloacal wall to tear and the anus to open. Sea cucumbers eject part of their intestines to scare off and defend against potential predators like crabs and fish. Amazingly, the cells inside the sea cucumber regenerate the organ in a matter of days.
