The red panda is a rare herbivorous mammal, slightly larger than a domestic cat, reaching about 55 cm.
It has claws that can be retracted like a giant panda, and a pseudo-thumb developed from the bones of the wrist joints. Red pandas have thick fur on the soles of their feet, which can be used to resist the cold and hide sweat glands.
Red pandas live in the Himalayas of southern China and Nepal. In Nepali script, the name of the red panda is “small animals that eat bamboo and plants.”
