When it comes to trains, what everyone thinks of is all kinds of bullet trains, high-speed trains, etc., without exception, all run at high speed. However, Japan has gone the other way, and launched the world’s slowest train, Snow Turtle. Obviously, the launch of the Snow Turtle is not used to rush the time, or the turtle speed operation will not give people to die, so, the purpose of the Snow Turtle is completely used for sightseeing, the beauty along the way so that you will not waste these hours.
Japan has reportedly unveiled one of the world’s slowest trains, the Snowtortoise. Its train has only two carriages, limited to 80 people, and all the seats on the train have to be taken according to the number of seats. The train is limited to the 59.5-kilometer journey between Erigata Station and Six-Day Station on Japan’s main island of Honshu, traveling at a speed of 14 kilometers per hour.
What exactly is 14 km/h? The speed of people walking is generally 4~7 km/h, walking fast, may be able to walk 10 km/h, individual such as flying, can reach 15 km/h. That is, if you want to run, you can run faster than the world’s slowest train, but the lazy will still want to ride.
The train starts at 10:44 a.m., and takes about four hours to arrive at the Six-Day station at 2:48 p.m., compared with an hour for a regular train. Its speed is so slow that some people want to race with the Snow Turtle.
