Can the legendary sacred spring bring the dead back to life

It is said that every year there are many patients who are sickly, even those who are now incurable and sentenced to death. They have come thousands of miles here, and a mere dip in the sacred water can relieve their illness, and in some cases cure it without medicine! How does this work after all?

How was the holy spring discovered?

Legend has it that one day in 1858, a little woman named Mary Bernard Sopillas was playing in a mountain cave when the Virgin Mary appeared to her.

And took him to the back of the cave, in the back of the cave has a clear spring. The Virgin Told the girl that the spring, clear and sweet, could eliminate people’s pain and bring people health and happiness.

The Virgin kindly directed Mary to the fountain to wash her hands and face, and then she quietly left.

Back in town, the little woman told us the news, but we did not trust, they all think the little woman is lying.

Then a hopeless patient did come to soak in the holy spring, and after a few days he felt his illness abate. So he repeated it several times, and his body strangely recovered.

As more and more people testified to the holy spring, word of its miraculous healing was quickly spread around the world.

People from all over the world came to the holy spring to seek medical treatment. Many patients who have been sentenced to death by modern medicine have recovered quickly after being washed here. Even patients who had been paralyzed for years were able to stand up and walk immediately after drinking from the spring.

So the local people regard the stream as a miracle, and it is filled with people during annual pilgrimages in mid-August, making it far more attractive than Jerusalem, the birthplace of Catholicism, Islam and Christianity.

Nearby believers also came to invoke the holy spring to further their faith.

Does this holy spring really have the magical effect that people say it does?

Since 1905, an allied medical organization has been inquiring about the healing effects of holy springs with some very strict goals, including the need for patients to suffer from an incurable disease for which there is no known medical treatment.

And it is necessary for the patient to recover immediately and permanently after drinking or soaking the holy water, regardless of the regression or remission of the condition. Those conditions are met and reviewed by a committee of 30 physicians from different countries to qualify as a “spectacle.”

So far, 64 people have been officially identified as having encountered the spectacle. After drinking the holy water, many years of pain disappeared and even recovered.

Devout religious believers believe that everything is a gift from the Virgin, a condition that cannot be explained by existing medical theories.

An estimated 4.3 million people visit Laudis each year, and some terminally ill people are emboldened by real examples of what they consider “wonders”.

Real instances

In 1963, a young Italian named Vittorio Meicharli, who was thinking of joining the army.

But during a physical examination, army doctors found that he had a rare cancer, and the cancer cells in his body had destroyed the bones and muscles in his left hip. Vittorio had to be hospitalized.

After going through several hospitals, he was told that he had a year to live and that there was no need for any medical treatment, in other words, to “go home and die” instead of wasting money.

On May 26, 1963, Vittorio’s mother took her son to the sacred spring in Laudis in the mood to try it out. Under the care of a nurse, Vittorio soaked naked in the cold spring.

A few days after his return from the holy spring, he began to feel hungry, and his appetite was as good as it had been for months.

A few weeks later, he suddenly felt a strong desire to get up and walk, dragging his left leg in plaster across the room.

He continued to walk around the house every day, and by the end of the year, all the pain had disappeared.

In February 1964, he went to the hospital for a review, and when they x-rayed him again, they found that the completely damaged pelvic tissue and bone had unexpectedly grown back.

By April he was now able to walk about at will and soon began to work in a wool-mill.

Then there was Anna Santaniro, who in 1952 suffered a serious heart attack that left her in bed with swollen legs and difficulty breathing. A heart attack of this magnitude was, in those days, almost incurable.

Anna’s brother and sister also died of the disease. Today, there is still no cure except for a very dangerous surgical procedure.

When Anna insisted on visiting a sacred spring that was said to bring back the spring, her family had to comply. With the help of her family and a final glimmer of hope, Anna came to town.

Who knows Anna will bubble after the spring began to breathe smoothly, legs also have feeling. After a period of time, Anna’s body was miraculously restored to health. After decades of searching for Anna’s medical records, the relevant organizations finally concluded that the holy spring saved Anna. Anna kept it until she died at the age of 90.

I heard that the girl who found the holy spring, Mary, later became a nun, he is very kind. When she was behind, people didn’t want to cremate her.

Curiously, her corpse was not decayed, and has always maintained the appearance of life, is the world’s famous not decayed female corpse. I have to say, the holy Spring of Laudis did something strange,

So what’s in the spring after all? Why this extraordinary effect?

What is the wonderful ingredient in the holy spring?

To investigate the mechanism of the laudis Holy Spring, researchers asked the Public Health Commission in suburban Washington, D.C., to conduct a thorough examination of the spring,

They carried out a comprehensive collection of water samples from the Sacred Spring of Laudis with special collection tools and sent the samples back to the laboratory for analysis.

Test results came out soon, results show that the springs of water quality is very good, no pollution, bacteria or chemicals in addition a stream without any abnormal, even inside the ph and the value of iron, zinc and other trace elements also have no difference and general stream, the stream work, nothing special.

So why is it that only the holy spring of Laudis can cure diseases?

Scientists’ guess

In more than 100 years, only 64 cases have been recognized by the medical profession today. In other words, the number of 64 recoveries is tiny compared to the annual base of 4.3 million recoveries. Therefore, the laudis holy spring is not as strange as the legend, can not be done to every patient “medicine to cure”, magic hand.

In light of this, scientists have some ideas of their own.

First of all, they believe that human beings are senior animals and have strong emotional awareness. When people worship something too much, they will be extremely dependent on it.

And when the patient in the bubble into the spring, convinced that he will recover, so in the end patients because of strong mind hint, and finally did not treat the miracle.

Scientists also believe that the sacred spring of Laudis is able to cure disease, because the water contains a mysterious substance that human technology can not detect.

It is the presence of this mysterious substance that allows patients exposed to the holy stream to heal without treatment. In the end, scientists do not deny that this is a publicity stunt by the local tourism organization, which advertises the miraculous effects of the Sacred Spring of Laudis, which is credited with providing a huge flow of tourists and contributing to the region’s economic prosperity.

As to why the holy spring of Laudis has such a miraculous effect, so far scientists have not given a definitive conclusion, but this does not affect people’s fascination with it, there are still more and more people, with hope to come to the holy spring, looking for this contrary to the common sense of modern medicine.

But with the development of modern medicine, we should be confident that science can lead us to the truth, no matter how hard the road ahead may be.

By then, hopefully, the answers will not only be eye-opening for us, but also for the future of medicine.
