In Titian, Indonesia, married couples cannot urinate or defecate for 3 days and 3 nights after marriage.
It is said that if this tradition is not followed, it will bring bad luck to the couple. Eventually it may lead to doomed marriages, death of children, and so on. Newlyweds are supervised by their family members, and they ensure that this tradition is prevented by giving the newlyweds a small amount of food and water.

Although this custom sounds rather strange, it seems to show a firm commitment and strong will to make their marriage as perfect as possible.
