When the typewriter was invented, the keys were arranged in alphabetical order. Due to the position of certain letters (SH, TH, E-A, E-I, U, etc.), the typist’s arm will get stuck if it is typing too fast. So they just moved the letter with the problem everywhere. So there is the current QWERTY layout!
