The show in The Matrix 2: Reloaded is one of the best car chases in film history. Wozdowski almost owned everything for the climax. Despite the obvious use of a lot of CGI effects in this play, there is one thing that cannot be faked-that road.
So, in order to make the scene, Sister Vodowski built a highway. The road, located near the naval base in California, was 2.4 kilometers long, without any slopes, and blocked a 5.8-meter-high wall behind San Francisco. Hundreds of cars in this aerial film were sponsored by General Motors, and of course, they were destroyed by Sister Vodowski in the end.
