I THINK WE’RE ALONE NOW (2008)

Celebrity fandom gets a critical examination in director Sean Donnelly’s profile of two people who spend an inordinate amount of time following the career of ’80s pop star Tiffany Darwish, a.k.a. Tiffany. Ostensibly a cautionary tale about deifying strangers, Donnelly is more interested in presenting his subjects as flawed human beings who clearly went through experiences that caused them to embrace a rather unhealthy obsession. It’s available at no cost to Amazon Prime members.
