Have you always thought that the game is the culprit in your glasses? In fact, this may not be the case! Studies have shown that playing some action games will stimulate the part of the cerebral cortex that controls vision, but will increase vision by varying degrees.
A brain and sensory scientist at the University of Rochester initiated the study by selecting a group of volunteers from the school and then letting them play Unreal Tournament and Tetris in their free time. The experiment lasted for one month. In addition to other test indexes, students who played “Unreal Tournament” improved their visual ability even more than they played “Tetris.” Researchers believe that these action games improve the vision of the tester.
