Needless to say, we all know that a pile of stools will be even worse when they burn. It turns out that you may not even need a lighter to complete this task.
On a record hot day in July 2016, a large pile of horse dung spontaneously ignited in upstate New York. It’s definitely a hard day for residents of all nearby towns.
The weather was hot and dry enough to catch a large pile of feces without any sparks.
All the fire needed was a proper mix of heat, oxygen, and fuel, and that was exactly what horse dung was then. Although there is no record of human feces, if conditions permit, it is also possible to succeed.
