On December 18, 2020, the agile bee II UAV cluster independently developed by Yifei Intelligent Control successfully created the title of “The Longest UAV Performance Animation” in the Guinness World Records at Tianjin University.
Through the perfect combination of technology and art, this challenge realized the world’s first aerial continuous animation flight performance, dancing with the stars, arranging colorful scrolls, depicting the life of the world-famous impressionist painter Van Gogh with science and technology, and paying tribute to art.
On the day of the challenge, the Guinness World Records official certification officer participated in the entire process and completed the official review and inspection, and finally announced that the entire continuous flight animation process took 26 minutes and 19 seconds, and the challenge was a complete success.
The UAV used in this challenge is the Agile Bee II cluster UAV, independently developed by the Yifei Intelligent Control team. Zhang Siqi, COO and product leader of Yifei Intelligent Control, said: “As a cluster performance drone that expands new areas of aesthetics, Agile Bee II is a brand-new breakthrough in product design, technology selection, and business model. It is designed for clusters. Take on the mission of the cluster.”
“The success of challenging the title of the Guinness World Records for the longest-duration animation of drone performances has brought not only the best performance and data in the world, but also created new industrial opportunities and opened up new businesses. The model heralds the advent of a new era of drone cluster performance.”
The world record for drones in the Guinness World Records is always eye-catching. Guinness World Records does not define success by conventional means. We wish all challengers can break through themselves and make history!
